Message from the Aging Services 2011-12 Technology Committee Chair
The Aging Services of Washington Technology Committee has opened a new chapter and with it new opportunities for Aging Services members to energize the field of aging services technologies. Please join me, John Feneis, Controller, Wesley Homes in thanking Lynette Ladenburg, COO, Tacoma Lutheran Home for starting the Aging Services Technology Committee and being its leader for the past 4 years. Lynette has been, and will always remain an avid supporter of leveraging technology to enhance the lives of older adults. She is credited with the successful creation of the Aging Services Technology Conference, now in the planning stages for its 3rd consecutive year. Under her guidance she developed the committee goal to increase the utilization of assistive technologies by Aging Services members, by providing a central location that members can leverage the knowledge of others. In addition, with the support of the ASW staff and management, she conducted a survey of the membership that will be used as a baseline for measuring the success of the Committee. Complete Message
