NEWS - RED FLAG RULE, The FTC will further delay enforcement of the Rule until November 1, 2009.
ALL Aging Services members need to conduct a thorough risk analysis for identity theft and apply the requirements for following new Federal Trade Commission (FTC) laws found in the Red Flag Rule. Enforcement for compliance has been delayed several times, but is now set for November 1, 2009.
Please be aware that a new FTC law has also been adopted regarding Notices of Address Discrepancy ~ this applies to any user of a nationwide CREDIT REPORT.
