Heather Skinner – Chief Operating OfficerHeather oversees Aging Services accounting, including the development of Aging Services annual operating budget; serves as a liaison to outside auditors and investment managers; provides human resource information to the Aging Services staff including benefit management; develops internal technology solutions and provides technical system support; directs Member Services including research and development of new programs; manages the Group Retrospective Rating Program (GRRP) including recruitment and refund calculations; oversees Aging Services projects; staff to the Finance/Audit Committee, Nominating Committee and Technology Committee. |
Paul Montgomery - Director of Financial ServicesPaul analyzes, responds to, educates, and disseminates information on payment issues and methods, billing and other fiscal policy areas affecting nursing facilities, boarding homes, and community based services; conducts research; reviews, analyzes, and tracks legislation and regulations; supports federal and state advocacy efforts; and provides operational support and technical assistance to members; staff to the Healthcare Committee. |

Julie Martin – Director of Senior Living & Community ServicesJulie assists members in the areas of federal and state policy and regulatory guidance for licensed care settings, senior housing, home and community based services as well as general business regulations; analyzes and communicates legislative initiatives and advocacy as a member of the Association’s advocacy team; and staffs the Assisted Living and Senior Living and Community Services Committees. |
Bonnie Blachly – Director of Clinical ServicesBonnie assists members with questions regarding policies and procedures and other system or operational issues specific to nursing facilities and assisted living settings. Bonnie also offers members training on a variety of topics, reviews statements of deficiencies, assists in the preparation of plans of corrections, provides guidance on citations, and staffs the Workforce Development Committee. |

Pat Sylvia – Director of Member DevelopmentAs the Director of Member Development, Pat is responsible for conference and event planning and other trainings throughout the year; preparing member communication materials and tools; producing featured member articles; developing promotional materials for the Association; engaging in resident-centered care initiatives and other related activities to promote shared learning on the ‘future’ of aging services. Pat staffs the Professional Development and the Public Relations Committees. |

Cassi Meritt – Member Development CoordinatorAs Member Development Coordinator, Cassi assists in conference and event planning, and other educational trainings throughout the year. She maintains the conference and education program registration database and helps maintain the membership database. Cassi’s responsibilities also include developing and creating education program packets and brochures as well as onsite support for all events and training provided by Aging Services of Washington. In addition, she provides various support functions to the Director of Member Development in the production of conferences and training sessions, in recruitment and maintenance of members/sponsors, in developing marketing materials, and in producing member resources such as the annual membership directory. |

Annie Runnels – Communication Coord./Administrative AssistantAnnie assists Aging Services members, directs members’ and other persons’ calls to the most appropriate staff person, and helps respond to members’ questions regarding education program offerings; performs payable and receivable accounting functions; assists all staff when needed and maintains office supplies and equipment. In addition, she will build awareness for our members through newsletters, blogs, press releases, story pitches and other communication channels as well as build a media base and relationships to gain interest in members’ events and other stories highlighting member innovation. |
